With flexibility at its core, we house capacity for more than 170 users in a dedicated data centre. As well as AVID and Premiere Pro, our systems can also accomodate further add-ons including After Effects, Media Encoder and DaVinci Resolve in addition to various AVID plug-ins such as Boris Effects. This virtual technology allows us to provide the greatest reliability and flexibility to our clients, whilst also helping our clients make their offline budget work hard for them.

 

Editors can access their AVID on their own equipment, or via our deployed Edit Kit Packages, allowing them to work from any location. So, whether dry hiring space, using an existing suite or working remotely, Creative Remote offers an easily scalable solution which reacts fluidly to hectic production schedules.

 

Unlike traditional post-houses who often host their own remote editing kit within their existing facilities, our dedicated data centre provides unrivalled security and redundancy for your projects backed by an experienced support team. We’re also not restricted by trying to repurpose physical machines, instead designing our system around the use of virtual computers. This means the spec of each machine can be tailored to the needs of the individual user. Additional computing power can be assigned to assistant editors to enable them to run multiple processes at once. Story producers, shooting crews, showrunners and execs can opt for a budget-friendlier 'AVID Lite' system which enables all of the creative team to feed into the same AVID project from anywhere in the world. This dramatically improves efficiency and communication between the shoot and the edit. Directors can access an AVID project on the shoot or at any stage to have material pulled into bins ahead of the edit. ​Our team is able to 'create' a new machine at any time with very little notice, allowing immediate scalability to react to the ever-changing demands of edit schedules and deadlines.

 

This move away from physical machines, also enables productions to host their edits anywhere. Whether editors wish to work from home, in a facility or hybrid, Creative Remote allows production to transform any space into an edit facility. This enables our clients to make use of any  pre-existing real estate without the additional, high-risk CapEx investment required to build an edit facility from scratch in the traditional manner.

 

You don't pay for any down-weeks in your edit schedule. Unlike a traditional post-house, we only charge you for what you're actually using. We can stand down an AVID for any hiatus weeks, holidays or schedule changes.​

 

Free your creativity when it comes to final post suppliers. You will no longer have your hand forced in choosing your finishing post supplier on the basis of their offline capacity. This enables your choices to be solely creatively led with no compromise on your colourist, online editors and sound mixers.

You should also benefit from more aggressive discounting because post facilities traditionally prefer final post only projects.
